Are you suggesting that IE8 includes these features (because I didn't think it did either) but not IE9 or that you can get them using Firefox or Chrome or some other browser? Then again, I hope this helps (even if it may not be what you wanted to hear). I'm unaware of any automatic spell checking add-on or feature available Not like Office which is automatic, but it does the job. which just requires a selection of what you want to check, a right click and a click on Spell Check. This will be your new configuration unless and until you change what you want as your 'home page.' You can change it at the end ofĮvery session or continue to use the same tabs until you change it. You next open IE, it will automatically open with all those Tabs exactly where they were before you shutdown or closed IE. I believe it limits you to 8 tabs maximum, so be sure pare it down to the 8 you want first.
The only way to get that to happen automatically is before you close the prior session, go to Tools / Internet Options / Home Page and click Use Current. The simplest way to do this is as you said: Tools / Reopen last session.
